I have a row of values that represent annual production from a certain mining area. I want to take those values and shuffle them within a broader combined schedule by creating a user configurable offset that moves the entire series of values to a new start date.

Any idea on what would be the easiest way to do this??

I’d probably do it with a bit of VBA using the offset function, but I’m not exactly clear what you want to do at the moment.

Automatic copying of data to a different range is straightforward, but do you need to insert it into existing data?

That’s good. I didn’t understand the question.
