Has anyone else ever seen seeds that come in a tiny packet like a matchbook? (I think that’s what they call them – American version of a matchbox)

I have seen Kangaroo Paws seeds packaged this way – would love to find out where I could buy them from… I think the ones I got were handed out free at a gardening workshop.

I lllllooooooooove it… but so far I can only find places that sell custom ones (promotional items) – which is OK, I would pay a bit more for that, BUT.. minimum order of 500 :(

Anyone need 400 seed matchbooks?? :)

Still looking for somewhere that does smaller quantities – found some places in the UK but I want Aust Native seeds..

Just discussed this with a friend. He says he’s been to several funerals where he was given a little packet of seeds – presumably they must be done in fairly small quantities so I will try to look them up..

were you thinking of having a custom message, like “from the bride and groom”, or just a generic conver. If the latter you might be able to sell the excess on ebay or something…

I’d prefer custom if it’s not too expensive. I had another idea – I think the packet I have at home is from the Water Corporation – I could ring them up and ask if they want some free advertising at my wedding?? I’d be quite happy having Water Corp ones instead of custom :D

what about asking a local nursery or someone you would rather promote instead?

Yes I reckon it woul be a good idea to get the bloke like me who works his arse off to get native plants out into the community to buy the matchbooks with my name on it and give it as a wedding present.. that is .. if you are inviting me to the wedding. ;)

There are places in WA that do this.. they may send them to Taiwan to be packaged .. but they do exist.

I’m going to get a few quotes from Vivid Promos. They did the Water Corp ones and seem to be a good local option, and they have a few different styles available.

Perth. Not sure if we’re big enough to have a customised promotional items company based over here..

well, A friend brought me back some from WA and my mother did too.. So you aren’t looking hard enough.

I’ll see if I can find any residues of them .. since I’ve likely used the seed years past. However I am a bowerbird.
