It is interesting how much and how often people share thoughts and experiences through social media.

Depends on the context from my perspective for example, family and close friends sharing everyday thoughts and experiences is like being at the same places together to remove the barriers of distance in order to interact like we would do if physically close by more often.

Oversharing is interesting and perhaps pathological with some. I am not a selfie type of personality but then I am like that about photos generally and for a longtime. So the selfie thing is odd to me at the best of times.

I wonder if nationality has an effect. 13,000 seems a good sized sample but the huge majority of them would be Americans, a nation with a strong penchant for self promotion.

I was thinking the same thing but upon opposite lines. 13,000 individuals is not sufficient if only 50 or less are narcissistic.
