Often its linked with causing mental illness when it can bring on existing mental illness.
It’s near on impossible to totally remove the effects of bias from any analysis..

They made no mention of the fact that Backstroke of the West is fucking hilarious when you’re baked out of your skull.
Not reading the article. The only two serious health risks that I know of are:
1) There are inherent risks in doing anything illegal. You never know what’s in it. It could be deliberately mixed with addictive drugs of simply be from a plant bred to make a more dangerous product.
2) Because first users aren’t necessarily aware of the long time lag between smoking and the start of effects, it is very easy to overdose the first time, overdosing enough to cause temporarily paranoia. And in susceptible people, that temporary paranoia can become permanent.

1)The first stuff I got was a bag of oregano.
2) I smoked it all without getting a whiff of paranoia.

In the “Stacey Dooley Investigates” series, she tried marijuana, and kept smoking more and more because it seemed to be having no effect. Because of the time lag. Then the effect kicked in. So we got to see the paranoia live on TV. Once you’re aware that you need to go slower, it wouldn’t happen.
Oregano, scientific name Origanum vulgare, is a flowering plant in the mint family.
