could provide for some good rain falls in and around Cairns for around Tues or Wed and some good falls for the Burdekin Catchment.

Mind you, the channel country has had a fair share of rain this year so far, might not want some more with wind???

hasn’t reached here yet.

As I anticipated my garden is either severely wilted or crisp. Also my froggy has died :(

Our bandwidth for the month has been used up so I may not come back on until Sunday as the connection keeps timing out.

We have a cool change here now – it’s bliss! Previous to that we had been out and about for an appointment and to collect some Vacola jars from nearby. Getting out of the car was awful, as you probably all know. I felt the worst that I have done so far when we got home. Now it’s nice to have doors and windows open again.

Soon as I posted that though, the power went off. Just back on now. We coped ok, but Giant Son didn’t. So we took him out the back and hosed him! It worked, one cool kid :)
