you’ve been quietly doing computation involving gravity fairly much since born, and ancestors going way way back. Gravity as a component of the computation, or computational apparatus.

KE’s in there too, .5M(V^2)

influenced evolution a lot.

probably greatly contributed to the evolution of the human brain and consciousness.

I’m sure you are right.

We wouldn’t have cricket if we hadn’t been apes.

But what was the question? (There has to be a question).

to start

a) is gravity a computational component (of or involved in physical movement).
b) likewise KE of mass

the idea (sorta) is that if gravity and KE of mass are computational components, then it does what it does without much thought about it. Silently.

just an idea, that gravity etc could be involved in silent, unintended computation

like every time you move part of your body, or entire body, there’s computation, of which gravity informs certain things, as does KE the relationship .5xMx(V^2).

For pretty much all creatures not just humans.

Would plants use any form of computation?

I’d say the processes that control plant growth could be considered analogous to what goes on inside an analogue computer, so I don’t think its stretching things too far to call it computation.
