It’s fantastic that ABC is broadcasting a radio commentary, isn’t it?

Pity it’s DAB and there’s not much of that in the country.

Yes, but the user’s not smart and the screen recently lost about 1/3 of its pixels. I have yet to understand how to put the internet on to the phone reliably and cheaply.

Ah. Yes I have seen SBS and ABC radio on the TV, and occasionally listened. I didn’t think any of them was broadcasting the cricket. I’d be happy to be corrected though.

Hmmm. Battery’s flat. Better charge it up.

I’ll try getting it through the browser on the phone when it’s charged. and whether the wifi works in the yard and shed.

We have a solution, thanks everyone.

Stream to computer > use broadcaster (designed for in-car mp3 player to radio) connected to computer > connect TV aerial to tuner > receive broadcast on tuner > amplify and listen.

When the mobile phone battery is charged, I’ll try it, using the phone’s browser, and internet wifi.

I think it’s moved onto 7 down for about 200 now.

Well done Mitch Starc.
He’s rescued the batsmen.

There’s only one problem with that. if Smithy opted for three spinners. Who is helping Mitch?

and that’s the innings…

Aust all out for 260…

will be interesting to see how the Indian team performs on the doctored pitch

I think it’s going to be very interesting with Starc and Hazelwood rolling the arm over.. no doubt a few will keep down..

O’Keefe to Saha, OUT, three in the over! O’Keefe is pulling off a blinder! This is his strength. Keeping the ball there and thereabouts and on a pitch like this, where turn is available virtually from anywhere, he becomes a handful.

WP Saha c Smith b O’Keefe 0 (2b 0×4 0×6) SR: 0.00

6/95

And another off the shoe

Hah ha, I’ve been on Ashwan’s case for his yellow shoes and now they have undone him.

I wonder what sort of odds “John” was offering on that fast a collapse.

3 for 94 was acceptable on that pitch but all out for 105 was not.

Pity Warner didn’t continue on. He needs to give better than 10 and out in the first over…

Why is S. Marsh now an opener?

Seems a strange decision.

Renshaw couldn’t bat because he was off the field for too long.

Ah.

Marsh out for a duck.

(sigh)

Hanscombe now to bat.

So the Indians have given Renshaw the runs. Plenty of them it seems.

Six wickets to Steve O’Keefe and an unbeaten half-century to Steve Smith have Australia leading by 298 runs after two days of the first Test against India.

Had coffee with a mate yesterday before the start of play, he was telling me O’Keefe was shit and wouldn’t get a single wicket for the whole series.

He’s certainly made the most of that wicket, well done him.
However I think Bubblecar could have picked up a few wickets with his slow unorthodox round the wicket chinaman tweekers on that wicket.
