It would be even more exciting if they weren’t Denisovans. If not, then that would show that what paleontologists think they know about so-called advanced and primitive features is a myth, forcing a major rethink of basing species definitions on bone shape.

Until some DNA is sequenced, all of this matrix human and Denisovan human remains nearly pure speculation. It may even be a completely new species never seen before.
