NASA is offering up some of its software for use. I thought some of you might find it interesting.

Correct :)

Some good stuff there. A lot of it is labelled “US release only”, but I suppose there are ways around that.

Let me know if you find ways around that. I’m starting with the propulsion section.

Surely a VPN would be a good start.

What the %^&* is a VPN?

All the software I’m interested in is marked “US only”. Mostly rocket propulsion and component stuff – I’ve had heaps of trouble with freeware rocket combustion software giving wrong results.

Even not rocket propulsion, just imagine how useful software “Wobble” would be. “WOBBLE computes the tone noise associated with propellers and predicts axial and circumferential directivity. The acoustic model is exact and accounts for all unsteady sources.” Quiet computer fans, turbines, household fans, helicopters, propeller aircraft, wind turbines, and axial flow water pumps would be the result.

A VPN is a Virtual private network. Briefly, it allows you disguise your provider and location and can enable you to get around geoblocks.

OK, never heard of it. Let me know if you succeed, any of you. There are about five or so of those NASA programs that I’m very interested in.

I’m sure the North Koreans have download it all, NASA’s probably put stuxnet in it.

It’s like bubbles and popular culture; except worse.

If you want conspiracy theories, try this one for size. The North Koreans won’t have downloaded it because all the North Koreans who want a space program have already been killed by the Japanese yakusa operating with the approval of DJT.
