Cool. Your garden looks so lush! I am finally getting some ripe tommies as well…Cherry Cerise (from my daughter’s seeds), Amish Paste and Tigerella.
As a matter of interest, what is the consensus on when to pick them? Ripen fully on the vine or ripen indoors? I have been doing a bit of both, but not sure which is the best way to go.
I’m inclining towards ripening indoors to reduce fruit fly attack. (ie pick when the fruit shows the first blush of colour)..looks as if there are some fruit fly around
I let mine ripen on the bush and pick as needed, but then I dont have any bugs attacking mine ATM

Yeah they probably have better flavour vine-ripened I would guess.
I think they do, but then again any tommie out of your own garden tastes better LOL

As much a mess as my tomato bushes are ,and hard to find lol, ( they fell over and took the fence with them) they are just beautiful eating.. hubby and I just made ourselves a cheese and vege platter for lunch , a bowl of cherry tomatoes , capsicums, cucs, cheeses, pate, crackers ect, and it was so yummy, we decided to not put everything away and we will finish if off for tea tonight :)
Yummo, I brought a nice red big juicy one to work and had it on toast for breakie
