I am tying to impart a high gloss finish to a dark tan leather watchstrap. I’ve gone about as far as I can with the Kiwi polish, but not shiny enough yet. Can anyone suggest a product to give a high gloss finish?
- thanks

Gloss acrylic medium from an art supplier?

Then spit polish the strap. Once completed wipe over with a bit of One-Go.

The answer is not a product but a technique – Spit Polishing

I’ve got similar results from both. We better compare notes next Pudd.
I’d be using some dubbin neatsfoot oil or some beeswax.

That’s the way. I wonder if some marketing manager ever wondered why they sold a shitload of one go at some locations and at others not so much.

Near any big base especially those training. Not anymore though, no spit polish now.

I’ve always been told that neatsfoot oil is the best for leather. My problem has always been, since when did neat have feet?
