If the smallest point in space is the plank limit, what is the smallest period of time?
If the smallest point in space is the plank limit, what is the smallest period of time?

the Plank Time
It’s the smallest amount of time over with it doesn’t hurt when you lie in a push up position with you weight on your forearms and your body perfectly straight.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planck_time
it’s probably fair to point out that the Plant Time probably doesn’t have any specific physical meaning as it’s a result of dimensional analysis… it’s essentially a scaling factor…
Unlike Hammer Time…

One of the most straightforward Q&As we’ll ever have.
(Planck, of course)

Thanks
Alternatively to the straight push ups is the 45 degree pushups one can do using a sofa or a bed
For Planck length, mass, time, energy and temperature see:

Quantising of space and time in terms of Planck length and Planck time violates special relativity.

Phew! SR always troubled me.

Oh cursed spite that i was ever born to put it right

That’s a good point. I once saw a derivation of General Relativity that allows the quantisation of space and time at the Planck scale. But the result doesn’t necessarily match up to classical GR at those scales.

Why would you want it to?

Well, you’d want Einstein to be right?

I don’t know about the smallest time unit, but the most important time is “Stubby time” which is any time, and you don’t even need to be awake!

There is a more sophisticated time. Wine o’clock.

Trouble with this time period is that it quickly degenerates into “Whine o’clock”

Better than One Tequila. Two tequila. Three tequila . Floor.

But that does stop the “Whine” time slot .

True.
