Am really enjoying looking through these. many I haven’t seen before, particularly those photographed by the Spitzer space telescope.

This image highlights the problems with SOFIA. Left is the SOFIA image. Right is the Hubble image of the same object. SOFIA is an IR telescope on board a Jumbo jet, it’s proved extremely difficult to get the plane ride stable enough for good images.
