Think of the web as the set of lines in 3-D space where three soap bubbles join. When four soap bubbles form at a point then that becomes a galaxy.

But …

The same image could have a different origin, it may just be the relic of two galaxies that collided a long time ago. More observations are needed, an excellent proof of the full web would be if four filaments of dark matter are shown to radiate from a single point.
