Subject: Good scientist cartoon
Have started writing a cartoon strip called, somewhat tongue in cheek, “Good Scientist” after the topic of the first cartoon. I’ve just started posting on facebook, perhaps 5 cartoon strips a day for the next month.

You’ll need a near infinite supply of ideas to keep up 5/day for a whole month.

Which one didn’t you hate?
Also, are there an infinite number of different classes of infinite numbers?

I have 40 years experience of being a science groupie to draw on. I’ve already drawn 76, just based on ideas from the past week, and am thinking up ideas faster then I can draw them out as comic strips.

Almost infinite. But, so far, the class “Non-Archimedean” holds almost all of them. The most comprehensive for practical purposes is “Robinson’s hyperreal numbers”, which may or may not end up being identical to “Hahn series”.

Why do you think they call them “stick figures”?
More seriously though, it’s deliberately non-PC.

Far be it from me to discourage anyone, but as stick figure cartoons go, these would have to be amongst the most rudimentary yet attempted.

Go for it. You are the one who said the phantom comics were badly drawn.

Mind if I quote you on that?
Two previous forum comments have now been incorporated in future cartoon strips.

Morning.
19.2°C, 86% RH, clear and calm.
Yesterday, I slipped and heavily grazed my foot, so I did nothing but look at adverts for boats. Today, I intend to wash all the little-shed components, and maybe get it all to Mr Over the Road’s place. And go for a surf if the water’s calmed down a bit.

These are genuine knitting or crochet patterns.
On the bus a fortnight ago, someone passed me a knitted uterus, which is what prompted the cartoon.

Don’t get 34.
Did the person on the bus who gave you a knitted uterus give any hint as to the motive behind this gift?
It seems sort of strange.

As soon as it was possible i.e. the next morning I got up & started doing laps around the ward. The medicos encourage this as it gets everything working well. I do recommend Coloxyl with senna to loosen you up.
