This is “Minor Planet Discoveries”, not astronomical discoveries in general, which is why LINEAR is so well represented, with 3,620 minor planets.

I don’t actually believe that WISE has only 49 minor planets. It’s found of roughly the same order of number as LINEAR, but I suspect that those have been divvied up into the various organisations that have analysed the WISE data, or have been missed entirely.
