Subject: My new vegie patches are ready

Well, finally i think they’re ready to plant.
Still have to finish the pathways but the beds have stopped composting and have cooled a little.
Fill includes about 50% original vegie patch soil, 25% calf manure and 25% mushroom compost.
Added dynamic lifter, chook poo, pigeon poo, rock phosphate, charlie carp and a few other bits and pieces.
First tomato seeds just emerging.
Hope the soil is not still too hot.

Nah not too much just yet.
I’ve planted a few pumpkin seeds in one and a tomato seed or two in another and now i’ll see what they do.
Will get a late crop of sweetcorn in maybe.
Have to go to PNG soon so can’t babysit littluns.

you filled them – mighty effort.
they look neat – you will have to include a bit of randomness in your plantings for assymetry LOL
