Subject: Explosive decompression into a vacuum

I imagine a lot would depend on the volume of air in the spacecraft/space station but could you hold onto something and not get sucked/blown out.

Movies/TV either depicts someone(s) get sucked/blown out violently regardless of the size of the craft/station they are in, or holding on desperately until all the air is gone or they can fix the hole or close the airlock.

Interesting but macabre article on Wikipedia about some poor bastard who got blown for 8 atmospheres into 1 through a far too small airlock door, he didn’t die nicely at all
