tiny aren’t they – smaller than poppy seed.
i’ll check again in late march to see if the seed do grow bigger.

yes but
- if you want spread some over a pot now. they come up as tiny red seedlings quickly (2 weeks) and you could move them inside when frost is predicted.
they grew in the frosty adelaide hills in summer – so mine just reseed and i contribute nothing.

I might do that. I have a little hot house thingy that I shelter plants in over winter so could pop them in there.

I will be interested to see how amaranthus grows in your area.
I don’t think it will grow well without summer irrigation but i’ve not tried.
