Hi all

I’ve just found in a high cupboard in my kitchen 6 x capsules of something. I’ve tried to do the pill identification online with various websites, but can’t find anything that can identify it. I’m just curious what it is, then I’ll bin it.

It’s a smaller-than-normal capsule, only about 12mm long. Half purple and half blue-green, no print on it. On the back of the tray/pack it gives detail of being 2mg.

The tray/pack has been cut, and all I can see is that it ends in “-chloride 2mg”, “n Pacific”, “New Zealand”, and the brand/product name ends in “um”.

Any ideas what it might be, or where to find out what it is?

Hmm…. ends in ‘chloride’ (loperamide hydrochloride), 2mg, and purple-green capsules…

I think Speedy has found it :)

lol… and i was hoping it might be something interesting… but instead it turns out the previous tenant used to have the squirts.

I moved into a house whose previous occupant was a doctor who’d been employed at a nearby hospital. In the medicine cabinet in the bathroom I found some semi-transparent red capsules in a bottle clearly labelled “chloral hydrate”.

Cant really help, he only posts here occasionally and I’ve never met him.
