I have a music database itunes that keeps getting corrupted with missing files

I’m interested in seeing if encrypting the drive will reduce file deletion

I have Eset security but I am wondering if hidden malware could be deleting random tracks in folders?

Isn’t iTunes the work of the devil

Whatever is deleting the files is.

I have backups.

Its a pain going though all the folders to check all the files are there in each folder.

In some cases re downloading them is easier.

If you have backups, just run your back up in the opposite direction, it will fill in the gaps. No need to check individual files…

I’ll run the backups, see what happens.
