I had a little diamond dove once (bought at a deceased estate auction) that eventually died of starvation, because I didn’t notice a mouse was eating its food.

I still feel guilty about that.

Most pet owners spend more time with their pets than close relatives – thats what makes the blow harder than with perhaps even close relatives. Losing a pet is like losing a parent.

Browsing through you tube stuff about peter wright

He probably did britain a big favour

Its a shame they did the mad, bad and sad job on him but as it turns out he was a mole catcher – the elite of the elite. He probably correctly identified harold wilson as a KGB asset and got rid of him – gently. In that position its part of his job description identify threats and eliminate.

I am alone aside for the dog. When he asked for the dog because he was missing the dog I was outraged. We are still lonely. We might get a puppy.

I could. But I particularly love springers and puppies are a good diversion from depression.I follow a few puppy pages and a few rescue pages. I haven’t seen what I want yet. So I am not the race into it type. I realise what I get will take up the rest of the bed. It has to be the right one.

(tasmania is awash with dogs needing a home. Most shouln’t have been bred. they are problems. I have enough problems.)

I wish ours would take their bodies across the rainbow bridge with them. The back garden is starting to resemble a boneyard.

It’s is nice thought and people say it to comfort you. What is the new go with trying to seek outrage in things instead of taking them in the spirit they are offered going and being spiteful about what people say. If people say there prayers are with you just smile graciously and accept it in that manner, they are not telling you to go fuck yourself which is the usual reponse to the thought.

I was thinking of digging up the little yellow parrot known as Banana. Ya know….see how he is. His cherry red beak was a thing to behold. I might have a use for it. He could end up more useful in death than he was in life. Ornery little shit he was. Batboy doesn’t seem to miss him at all.
