Already have an idea of where I am going to start in my vegie patch for the cooler months of growing.

The little square block outside by the dining room window. Needs a complete over haul and have warned the elf it’ll be all hands on deck for that play session. Need to remove the pavers and get that last bit of green lawn out and fill the area with some sheep crap and maybe some more gypsum.

Will pop in leafy greens.

Figure out where the garlic will go this season as well.

like I said, my hand is still stiff and sore at times. at about 80% of before the accident. got to remember to do the exercises. otherwise I am OK. although if I bump my shins that hurts more than it used to. And they have upped my blood pressure meds by adding another type of drug (I was on full dose of the other one.) My fasting glucose/sugar tolerance is borderline also, so visiting the doc is a depressing activity these days. Oh well. Just got to get out in the garden again. Hey?

Wish I had that problem! I’m the opposite, I think, “It’s too hot – I won’t garden today” then sit out there with a cuppa and end up putting in 4 or 5 hours of gardening! Prime example: the weekend before last when I ended up finishing off the paving and bed alongside in hot muggy weather just because I was keeping the dogs company!

It’s funny isn’t it, how some people can’t sit still and others can’t work up the energy NOT to sit still? There’s a guy at work who has a sort of constant nervous energy which keep shim doing jobs around the house and garden, not to mention doing cycling, rowing, etc etc.. I often wish I could buy some of that get up and go from him!

I just saved Clancy and Banjo from the cooking pot. A couple of blocks wanted to buy a couple of ducks for their dinner table. Didn’t want to buy any of the 3 young ones….Just Clancy and Banjo…..

They said the yellow billed ducks don’t taste as nice.

These guys were building on a room next door and saw the ducks.
