Subject: Hybrid Engines in Space

How many different types of Hybrid engines in space could they be?

One example could be solar wave, and pulsed emission.

Another example could be rocket propulsion and ion drives.

One engine does the maneuvering while the other engine does the long haul etc

or designs that use more than two engines etc

Wow! What a question.

Conventional spacecraft, bog standard design, will often have two different propulsion systems. I’ve never hear of a spacecraft using three, but there probably have been some.
