Okay……..

I’m growing my cabbages separate from the broccoli & cauli……. how often should I feed the cabbages as they grow with liquid manure????

I was always growing the 3 together and I get the smaller cabbages.

Bluegreen pointed out the cabbage is a leafy plant. So i don’t want to over feed them (when I get them planted out) and have sappy softy sooky skungie looking aphid dinner plates growing.

So how often should I feed them a liquid fert drink???

i plant them about a metre apart (in theory). if you don’t want sappy, sooky, aphid bowls your soil might be good enough without liquid fert. generally fert every two weeks IMO.

pity – cabbages do well after spuds. you could scoop the top soil off the old spud area and plant the cabbages into that. give the ducky wuckies fresh straw.
just thinking out loud. you tend to be kinder to your livestock than you are to the veges. i’m a bit the other way.
rain would do a world of good either way.
