Looks like you cannot.

Which means maybe a new Bluetooth standard is needed, one in which multiple Bluetooth receivers can be paired / connected to the same device. The A2DP audio streaming profile needs to be updated to handle multiple connections.

Not sure how they do it but some brands of bluetooth speakers allow you to connect multiple of theirs however I haven’t found a way to connect to more than one device at a time.

Yes I bought one on the weekend Sony make it, really decent speaker for its size.
It allows you to connect speakers to each other so they play the same audio in different locations.
I think the speakers connect to each other not to the blue tooth transmitter
