Taste in wine is very subjective but also ….

How can one glass of a particular wine make a glass of another wine of the same category, eg. shiraz, taste so bad? Yet, try the second wine again without having had the other first and it’s perfectly fine.

There has to be some science to this?

Tannins. Drink a wine with tannins first and the second wine will taste bad. tannins are the ones that get you in the back or you jaw. that’s what i reckon anyway.
