I’m in the market for a good one.
Doesn’t have to be a standard one. One of my New Years Resolutions some years back was to “get a woman to slap my face” – I succeeded in that one.
I’ve had a few that have worked for me the last couple of years.
One of them has been to stop talking about doing stuff if you know you’re not going to do it.

Sadly not. It was in one of my comic books that fell apart from overuse. I think I have the pages stashed away somewhere in a box, but not sure where.

I don’t make NYE resolutions, but I have been known to write down a list of the good stuff I did in the previous year and back-date it.

Calvin & Hobbes is a remarkable cartoon strip. Able to be so mature and world-wise, and simultaneously absurd and child-like. It was brilliant. It’s been referred to as ‘the last great newspaper comic’. There’s still a few right wingers around but well weed them out one by one and if they wont assimilate…..well…..they’ll have to be eliminated I’m afraid, great and terrible thing.

Other possible new years resolutions: “Find a job – for somebody else” “Create a computer game ap” “Get buffy’s myopia paper published” “Go to at least one aquarobics session”.
“Go on a holiday sometime in the year” would be another new years resolution.
