I’m in the market for a good one.

Doesn’t have to be a standard one. One of my New Years Resolutions some years back was to “get a woman to slap my face” – I succeeded in that one.

Sadly not. It was in one of my comic books that fell apart from overuse. I think I have the pages stashed away somewhere in a box, but not sure where.

Best intro to juggling I know is Todd Sampson “improve my mind”. First two steps are:
1. Throw two balls in the air and catch both of them.
2. Higher.

That’s as far as I got.

Calvin & Hobbes is a remarkable cartoon strip. Able to be so mature and world-wise, and simultaneously absurd and child-like. It was brilliant. It’s been referred to as ‘the last great newspaper comic’. Bill Watterson was very wise to quit it when he did, before it became stale. ‘Always leave ‘em wanting more’ is the showbiz adage, and the smart ones do it e,g, ‘Fawlty Towers’.

There’s still a few right wingers around but well weed them out one by one and if they wont assimilate…..well…..they’ll have to be eliminated I’m afraid, great and terrible thing.

I’m looking forward to getting a new kitchen tap. Maybe a new kitchen to go with it. I’ll be really brave and attempt to explain what I want to a tradesperson. Again.
If not, I’ll just give up and live in a bucket.
