Facebook isn’t “artificial intelligence”.

Now if she’d said that we’re building a meme-powered dystopia then I would agree. Memes aren’t intelligent so it would be more correct to say that we’re building an “artificial stupidity”-powered dystopia.

I created this technology to enhance the mind of man not enslave it.

So many websites are deliberately designed to maximise ad revenue, some tricks are to obscure the real buttons that actually go to an article and have lots of fakes that link to ads, pops up’s that jump right onto what you are reading so you click on them “accidently”. Fake close ads buttons, fake download buttons and so on, the websites look ugly and are horrible to navigate even if you are really Internet savvy.
