Busted these 3 little Dorrie Evens wanna be’s watching the dog across the road bark at some people trying to raise the dog’s owners attention that they wanted to come inside. Bruno is a big dog on a chain at the front door. Going troppo at the people.

I was just thinking this morning that it might be time to get the dog clothes out! Tess is a complete wuss, she gets cold at night and likes to be wearing clothes and tucked up under a blankie. Complete oppose to the rottie, who loves winter as the rest of the year she’s always too hot.

On the subject of pets, Dipstick came back…Georgina and Shadow / Midnight Raider are not thrilled about this, they had taken over Dipstick’s lap-cat role…
In fact Shadow tried to physically remove Dipstick from the house this AM, but MrD caught him and connected a broom rather forcefully to Shadow’s rear end…
Dipstick had been missing for about 5 weeks, I thought a snake had got her…she is painfully thin but her coat is glossy and her muscle tone is pretty good…she eats and eats but I am cutting down on the milk as her stools are not at all formed…

Still getting to know her character, but most of them are such sooks. They call the blotch of colour on her left ear, red, so I guess that’s where the Ruby came from, I didn’t think to ask actually.
I can’t help but think of the Stones song ‘Ruby Tuesday’ everytime I call her, so she may be stuck with that one :)

Must admit I’m not a fan of bull terriers. If I ever got a pure bred dog (which is highly unlikely) I would go for either a beagle or a labrador.

I know for female rats you dramatically lower their rate of breast cancer if you have them spayed. Not sure if breeding them has the same result or not.

Well remember our new girl Ruby? After owning her for JUST one week and her second big walk around on footpaths, to try to do something about that weight problem.She’s developed a condition apparentley very common in white bullies, between her toes, caused by Staphylococci.
So she’s had to get all 4 paws scraped and flushed with a peroxide solution, hospitalised for 2 nights….bucket now on head…..back to vets in the morning for rebandaging.
What a sorry sight :(
So there goes one of our gov bonus’s….oh well I guess the money stayed in Oz
