Subject: Eye Question for Buffy

This is something I’ve noticed over the course of several weeks now – the feeling that there’s something “stuck in my eye” on the far left corner of the left eye, most noticeable for an hour or so after I wake up but often persisting for longer.

It feels as though the lashes or lids are trying to deal with some trapped foreign body. There’s nothing actually there as far as I can see.

It’s annoying and I’m wondering if it might be associated with some class of eye disease.

I wouldn’t be unduly worried; it’s probably just a tumor.

Sorry, not something I can help with without looking at your eye. As you have no optometrist in your village, I’d suggest getting the GP to have a look.

Ta buffy, I just thought I’d post about it in case there’s a well-known eye malady whose first symptom is “feeling like there’s something stuck in the left corner of your left eye”.

;)

Take a photo of your eye and post it in the thread

I walked into the antenna of an old CTR type TV
hurt like a bugger..
mum suggested going to the local pharmacist
for First Attention (they are well trained in medicine)
He sat me down & hadda look, said it was serious
enough to get me to a proper optometrist immediately!

I’d torn a flap of cornea loose, the doc pasted it in place
scripted AntiB and bandaged BOTH Eyes to immobilize.

Said all that just to say, if a pharmacy is closest, have them
have a proper look/see for a quicky (FREE) evaluation
