Reporting on the birthday cake. Mr buffy has done the quality testing on the mix. He licked out the bowl.

I guess p_p is with family eating cake at the moment, but here is a progress report on the Forum birthday cake. Unfortunately for him, I can’t get it to WA, so we’ll eat it tomorrow at lunch with my parents. I’ll tell my mother it is Party_Pants’ birthday cake and she will be very, very confused.

Please note, my cakes never have a smooth top surface. But the cracks mean you get more icing in those spots.
