Still building but no internet at home. No electricity unless I start the generator. And if I forget to get petrol while I’m in town this arvo there’ll be no electricity when I get home tonight.

Am at ‘work’ today – pretty laidback, minding a shop for a friend, looking at internet in between customers.

Just remembered I think I have some photos on my USB stick, will see if there are any I could load onto the blog.

Just had the blessing/kirking of the tartans in front of the town hall. Mr Y has been out there in his
Breton tartan. I think he’s just expressing his feminine side by wearing the only skirt a “real bloke” could get away with!

We’ve been living in the house since it was only just at lockup stage – had no internal walls. Had lots of dramas, naturally, but the worst involve my husband’s vindictive ex-wife reporting us to council & DOCS for living there without permission.

What a witch! You wonder if she wouldn’t have preferred the kids in a cold tent next house with a roof.. You know what I would do, go to the tip and get all the wine, flagon cartons and beer bottles you can and place them in a pile in the yard. and watch her self combust.

(I wouldn’t really but horrid people like that just invite such thought..)
