Eat them fresh instead of sweet food. I love them added to coleslaw salad……..gives it a lovely kick.

I doubt I could live if I didn’t have some radish of some sort in the garden.

I use them in salads sliced, diced or whole.I use them in soups and stews sliced, diced or whole. I use them sliced thinly in sandwiches and on toasted sandwiches.. I even lve to slice slices of tomato and a slice of radish on each.. pop them inthe old gob and munch. Radish seeds make great spicy sprouts and even just soaked radish seed can be used in Asian curries and stir fry’s.

I haven’t actually tried this so it is still in the experimental phase.. dlice and dry the radish then grind it as a condiment.

I grow all sorts of radish and collect the seed.. I also like to leave most veg for flowers and seed as it also feeds my bees in the winter.
Seed is expensive and most radish don’t cross easily. They generally grow true to type.Although I have turned my chinese radishes to purple tops like turnips.
