it’s quite possible that with all the emphasis on money, that other sorts of poverty get neglected.

might even be hints of it in the frequency with which poverty and impoverishment get used of other things.

how much of a stretch of imagination is it to think for a moment that earning the money impoverishes something else.

not a terribly ideological compliant thought, granted, wayward perhaps.

It doesn’t seem like a stretch at all to me. I think it is self evidently true.

Is it ideologically incompliant though?

It would be for some ideologies I suppose.

Are you familiar with Maslow’s Heirarchy of Needs?

Are you familiar with World Happiness Index?

Costa Rica comes in near the top at number 13, despite being monetarily poor, having low life expectancy and a low rating for generosity.

Bhutan introduced the measure of Gross National Happiness.
