Well now I can say I’ve met Lucky and Pepe!

I got up to Lucky’s place about 2:30pm yesterday and met Lucky, Elf and the menagerie, Pepe arrived a little later and brought some yummy things to have with coffee..

I’m glad I met all of them, very nice people and we had a long chat. My holiday has been crowned so to speak, I’ve had a great time but this really tops it off!

Yes it would have been nice to catch up.. I was sitting in the internet place in NB (boasting the fastest internet access – near the one way bit) and found it frustrating because your place is probably so close to that but I had no way to contact you.. Oh well, have to be next time now!

- nice bloke – even if he does have a 10 metre square patch of garden going to waste LOL.
the really good thing about collie is his ability to patiently and simply explain the world of computers to the illiterate – like me. i learnt there is a thousand gigabyte harddrive available – imagine that – it stores a hundred full length films and isn’t half full yet.

lucky and elf have nursed the lettuces past the often fatal first week. so hopefully we all get fresh green salads this winter.

Oh thank you for the kind words too Collie. Glad you had a lovely visit and you know there is a bed here with a coup[le of cats as foot warmers, any time you need it.

Elf & I had a wonderful visit from Collie, he’s just such as nice bloke and has an infectious laugh. Very happy fellow.

Thanks to Pepe and Collie for popping 3 lovely size bags of sheep manure into the duck shed for me as the elf can’t get in there with his asthma. I was going to do it when my leg had settled down from all day shopping with my sister on Tuesday.

We sat outside for ages talking about anything, those slices Pepe supplied for afternoon tea was yummo too.

Sent Collie home with a jar of my jam too.

Hort yeah them boats are pretty good and u can take poultry on them :P the Spirit of Tassie My grand parents been on it about 5 times thats just to go over there so if they add all the back ones thats 10 times.

Yes the boat trip over is great—and able to take car and van as well—much rather that than staying in Motels
