yep and he went for free as well, having 3 boys isnt a smart idea. back to 9 chooks now and i am getting a trio of guenia fowl soon. u get email BG?
Frist show is 29 days away.
Can anyone give me ideas on how to feed my girls crumble daily so they eat it all up and not scatter it out of their feeder everywhere, for the mice?
Even if I don’t feed them for a day, they still don’t clean up the crumble that’s minced into the sand.
muschee you got a photo of the feeder, mine chuck all the good bits out and then eat them off the ground.

It’s suspended, so it’s their head height….hope this works…I really should practice more with pb
You should be able to see the crumble mixed in thru the sand there

Yeah they’re messy buggers, it just goes everywhere…but they don’t seem to clean it up 100% off ground and I’d really like to reduce the mouse population I have

keep Poultry brings mice around becuase of the food, i normally take the food away at night and give it to them in the morining or only fill up the feeders for them to eat it in the day. same way we dont leave food out for ourselfs.

Yep me too, but it’s what’s left on the ground that keeps the mice fed
Sonny Jim and I have been out to refresh the worm farm…washed the shadecloth, moved all the far-from-grateful worms upstairs, swished some fresh water through the farm…we moved it as it was unbalanced on some tree roots before…now all I have to do is feed them fresh stuff tonight and fattener tomorrow…I promised Sonny Joe he could help with the fattener…
and that is my gardening news folks…slacker I know…
