Subject: Not much help

I sent a question the Gardening Australia they were of NO help at all here is the reply I got>>

Dear xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for emailing Gardening Australia. Our apologies in the delay in replying to your enquiry. We have had a large amount of mail over the opening of the show and as we like to reply to each email individually, there have been some delays.

It may be best to contact your nursery for specific advice for what will grow well in your region. Nurseries are well placed to be aware of local pests and conditions for their local region.

Thank you again for taking the time to write in to us and we hope that you continue to watch and enjoy the show.

Regards,

The Gardening Australia Team

HI Grasshopper, what was the query? Did you really ask what plants would grow well in your region?

Yes it waas if Heliconias and Beehive Ginger would grow here—the nurseries here haven’t had any.

OK, I’m not much help either, but I think Bubba Louie might know about Helconias.

Would you have a sea-spray issue with your plants?
