Subject: the royal commission, thanx

australia’s had somewhat egalitarian credit for a while, call it what you like.

it gets tightened up, along with extra reporting, then I guess there will be more people chasing the cheapest properties, and if i’m right there are some (relative) forces to do with property values that drive values up, up the chain to the top.

so, is it going to be worth it?

The Royal Commisiion has not unveiled anything new, their information they are using was handed to them by the investivagitive bodies, APRA and the like.
What it has done is made all that information public and given a rocket to those investigative agencies to get their finger out and do their job.
Worth it? shot term, probably.
Long term, be forgotten in twelve monyhs.
However if it reduces the profit driven bonus schemes it will have achieved something.
