Ukraine peace deal could be presented to Russia within days: Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says marathon talks between Washington and Kyiv created a “not perfect” but “very workable” framework that could bring to an end Russia’s near four-year-old invasion.

If a proposed deal is agreed to between the US and Ukraine, it may be presented to Russia within days.

It comes as European countries bordering Russia vowed to beef up defences to deter Kremlin aggression.
