I’m not saying that people shouldn’t care about their appearance, care can apply to the worth of health and wellness… which is great, and beneficial to the individual and society as a whole…. but, as with most things, the extremes are highly correlated to mental health issues, and self worth – and that is sad and a huge social issue that should be a focus from a societal care perspective rather than othering.
