Quite possibly. A good short-term solution to kill power just before a raid on that area.

Good on them, very simple approach.

I suspect it’d just trigger the circuit breakers rather than melt anything as a drone wouldn’t be able to carry enough of the thick heavy wire needed to pass the large voltage/current that powerlines use, and so do serious damage.
