Bad news this end, brother’s in hospital. He was originally having a gastroscopy, due to stomach problems the past 10 days or so, but they found his blood count was very low (almost low enough to warrant transfusions) so the gastroscopy will be tomorrow, and they’ll be keeping him in there for some days while they work out what on Earth’s going on.

That’s awful

At first his GP thought it was a conflict of medications – he’d been put on daily aspirin but shouldn’t have been as it reacts with his arthritis medication, with stomach problems being the result.

But now it looks like something more serious but we don’t yet know what. He’s keeping his spirits up and hopefully we’ll know more tomorrow.
