I got my Census letter in the mail today. You can all stand down.

I wonder why some are mailed and some are hand delivered. Had another chat with our local census deliverer today when she was trying to find someone home next door. I told her they were both at work, but she could talk to Freya the miniature horse if she wanted to. She decided to just leave the form at the door (under cover) with a note. She has to have them all delivered by the 4th of August.

I was thinking it might be that if the household did the last census online they mail a letter too that address with the login details. those that did a paper one last time get on a list for a paper version.

We used to get the census delivered to the door because there was no mail delivery to this village. However, now there is mail delivery but I haven’t put a mailbox out there.
We have a PO box in town because we didn’t have a mail delivery for the first 30 years.
