they aren’t glass bits though. it is either as fine as talc or made into granules. amorphous silica, glass, is considered relatively safe compared to crystalline silica, unless breathing it in heavy industrial use. it doesn’t cause silicosis.

I’m no scientician so I’m not going to argue the point, but if it’s not on California’s extensive list of carcinogens (and it’s not) I guess it’s fine.
